Launched in 2021 as an independent project, friend friend TOMOSUMI creates haiku installations and innovative designs out of a variety of mediums (paper to metal plaques). Not just words, these poems hold memories. The project continues to explore Japanese diaspora by engaging in research and development of new social practice art, while bringing a sense of simplicity, curiosity, and relevancy.
