  • I joined Densho resident artist Lauren Iida and Densho Communications & Public Engagement Director Natasha Varner for a virtual conversation discussing my contribution to the community art project.

  • Seven years ago, I wrote a haiku paying homage to my late father’s favorite phrase “Savor your Journey.” On Father’s Day 2022, my family held a dedication ceremony for his permanent memorial bench at the University of Washington. My poem is enshrined on the plaque.

  • A paper project celebrating cultural cornerstones. I began gifting origami crane portraits to Japanese American organizations in July 2022. The displays are accompanied with a personal poem.
